Located in the back yard of Serrano's is the Backpacker's Inn, an independent youth hostel.

We are open during the summer from May 1st through October 1st and are located downtown, East Glacier Park, across the street from the Amtrak depot and in the back yard of Serrano's Mexican Restaurant. The price is $12.00 each person, per night.

There are private cabins available starting at $30 per night.

We take reservations 24 hours in advance. This ensures that we always have room for those hikers that are coming in off the trail. We will also take reservations if you call us right before you get on the train or plane so you know you will have a place when you get here.

Serrano's Mexican Restaurant is open daily 5-10pm. There are several other restaurants and shops within walking distance for breakfast and lunch. For you convenience Serrano's is located within a short walk from the Amtrak train station.
